I would like to speak on a thought of Psalm 62 and come from the perspective from yesterday's devotion. Notice it’s talking about how God is the rock, my salvation (deliverer) and our defense. We see him as such in many psalms; this was one of David's revelations he received about the Lord and he taught it and sang about it. This view of God was very special to him. Just as David our view of God is related to our relationship and personal experiences we have with him. Now David saw him as many other things but these are… read more

I just want to give a quick word tonight about Psalm 18. I would have done a video but my son wasn't asleep yet, I guess revival started a bad bedtime routine. lol

In verse 2 We see that David is telling us that God is the Rock, Fortress, and Deliver.

Psalm 42:1-3 To the chief Musician, Maschil, for the sons of Korah, As the hart (deer) panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?

Psalm 63:1-3 A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in… read more

Day 2 - Who Is Revival For? Pastor Chris

Isaiah 57:15 For this saith the high and lofty. One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Everytime I ask preachers, "how was their revival? " I seem to get the same kind of answers, we had this many get save and this many rededications. Our churches seem to "rate" a revival's success on how many souls got saved or rededicated during the meeting. Those… read more

Day 1 - When is revival needed? Rev 2-3 Pastor Chris

When is revival needed? Here is a list based upon the churches in Revelation. It should be taken as a while, though individual items may speak to you more forcefully. When this group of symptoms are present, revival is needed.
  • Revival is needed when spiritual matters are kept in the background and are a low priority.
  • Revival is needed when God's people find themselves going through the motions, having only "a form of godliness but denying its power". (2 Tim 3:5)
  • God's people need revival when they are wallowing in sin, perhaps regretting their sins, but unwilling to thoroughly repent… read more
